Raj Thackeray, the chief of Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), linked the recent attack on Uddhav Thackeray's convoy to frustration among his party workers. He stated that their actions were a response to the lack of condemnation after a similar incident involving himself.
On Saturday evening, MNS workers hurled tomatoes and cow dung at Uddhav Thackeray's convoy in Thane, following an incident where betel nuts were thrown at Raj Thackeray's motorcade in Beed district. Authorities detained over 40 MNS workers, later releasing them, and registered two FIRs against 54 workers.
In his detailed social media post, Raj Thackeray emphasized the need for maintaining decorum in political discourse and urged the media to avoid sensationalism. He also warned against interfering with his supporters, highlighting the importance of fair elections.
