During a conversation with journalists, Sharif discussed the progress in the second phase of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, expressing optimism about increased cooperation following visits from Chinese experts.
Sharif also addressed concerns regarding the safety of Chinese nationals in Pakistan and reiterated the government's commitment to their security. He mentioned that Pakistan has requested debt re-profiling from China, which could help manage economic challenges if approved.
