C P Radhakrishnan Appointed Governor of Maharashtra, Succeeding Ramesh Bais
Outgoing Jharkhand Governor C P Radhakrishnan has been appointed as the new governor of Maharashtra, succeeding Ramesh Bais. Former Union Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar will replace Radhakrishnan as the Jharkhand governor. Radhakrishnan thanked various leaders and expressed pride in serving multiple states.

Outgoing Jharkhand Governor C P Radhakrishnan on Sunday expressed gratitude to President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his new appointment as the governor of Maharashtra.
The Rashtrapati Bhavan announced on Saturday night that Radhakrishnan, who was concurrently managing Telangana, will succeed Ramesh Bais in Maharashtra.
Replacing Radhakrishnan as the Jharkhand governor will be former Union Labour and Employment Minister Santosh Kumar Gangwar. Celebrating his tenure, Radhakrishnan said, "I am also deeply proud and honoured to have had the wonderful opportunity to serve the three great States of Jharkhand, Telangana, and Puducherry. Will forever cherish it and will always remain close to my heart. I wish the three great states the very best.'' He also thanked Home Minister Amit Shah for the new assignment.
