Leaders from various political ideologies, including BJP veteran Murli Manohar Joshi and former CPI(M) general secretary Prakash Karat, assembled to launch the special edition of Think India Journal, founded by senior NCP leader late Devi Prasad Tripathi.

The event served as a tribute to Tripathi, who was celebrated for his ability to embrace and reconcile different ideologies, garnering respect from a broad spectrum of personalities due to his intellect.

The special edition, released by Joshi, Karat, JD(U) leader K C Tyagi, NCP working president Supriya Sule, Congress leader Shashi Tharoor, and international relations expert Pushpesh Pant among others, features articles, research papers, and essays by notable figures such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Shashi Tharoor, George Fernandes, Amrita Pritam, Javed Akhtar, and Madhu Dandavate.

Kanishka Tripathi, Chairman of the Vichar Nyas Foundation, stated that the special edition commemorates the journal's dedication to promoting progressive ideas aimed at fostering national and intellectual growth.

Joshi reminisced about Tripathi's active participation in various political movements and underscored his unique personality, suggesting that finding a personality like Tripathi is rare and refreshing.

JD (U) leader K C Tyagi highlighted Tripathi's unique political stance and his significant connections, including his proximity to Amitabh Bachchan and former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi.

Karat recounted Tripathi's skill in convening people from conflicting ideologies and his lasting attachment to the Left, despite his diverse political affiliations.

Tripathi's life was marked by his participation in the ABVP, SFI, CPI(M), Congress, and the Sharad Pawar-led NCP, demonstrating his dynamic political journey.
