In Unnao, India, Nutty Village is celebrating former US President Jimmy Carter's enduring legacy with two new peanut butter flavors. This tribute recognizes Carter's lifelong commitment to agriculture, which has inspired the startup's dedication to supporting local farmers.

Aman Kumar, co-founder of Nutty Village, emphasized the significance of this homage. The company plans to release coffee-flavored and barbeque-flavored peanut butter as a nod to Carter's advocacy for peanut farming and sustainable development.

Through direct market access, Nutty Village empowers around 50 local farmers, offering them nearly triple the typical purchase price. The initiative also involves women in self-help groups for processing, creating grassroots level employment and contributing to improved livelihoods.
