During his recent visit to Russia, Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted India's commitment to supporting peace in Ukraine, emphasizing the necessity of dialogue and diplomacy, according to parliamentary disclosures on Thursday.

Minister of State for External Affairs Kirti Vardhan Singh detailed the outcomes of Modi's meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, including the signing of multiple MoUs and discussions on key cooperation areas across political, economic, and security sectors. These discussions were framed by bilateral priorities, independent of relations with other nations like China.

Singh also mentioned ongoing efforts by the Indian government to enhance visa-free, visa-on-arrival, and e-visa facilities for its citizens globally while addressing a query about potential high-speed rail projects to Singapore, which he denied.
