British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, speaking at the Farnborough Airshow, reaffirmed the UK's commitment to the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP), a multinational fighter jet initiative with Japan and Italy.
Amid speculation about the UK's potential withdrawal, Starmer made it clear that GCAP is a top priority for his administration. 'It's important for me to put on record just how important a programme this is,' he stated.
Starmer also highlighted the significant progress achieved so far in the project, known as Tempest in Britain.
