In a sharp critique on Sunday, the Donald Trump Campaign labeled Vice President Kamala Harris as 'just as much of a joke as President Joe Biden,' immediately after Biden withdrew from his re-election bid and endorsed Harris for the November general elections.

The Trump Campaign's statement accused Biden of being 'too mentally incompetent' to continue his presidency, yet persisting in office. Biden, 81, announced his withdrawal and supported Harris, 59, the first black and Indian-origin vice president, as the party's new nominee.

The decision came after weeks of pressure from within the Democratic Party, post-Biden's poor performance in a debate against Trump. Taking aim at Harris, the Trump Campaign asserted she would be a worse leader than Biden and criticized both for their administrative records. Additionally, the campaign claimed Biden is a 'national security threat' and questioned Harris' belief in Biden's capability to continue his term. The Trump Campaign vowed victory in the upcoming November elections to 'save the country' and alleged Biden's policies have led to economic turmoil and weakened national security.
