BJP Challenges Congress on Karnataka Scams: Calls for Investigation

The BJP in Karnataka has thrown down the gauntlet, challenging the Congress government to investigate the '21 scams' that allegedly occurred during its previous tenure.
The BJP has accused Chief Minister Siddaramaiah's administration of protecting individuals involved in the Rs 187-crore scam in the Karnataka Maharshi Valmiki Scheduled Tribes Development Corporation.
Leader of the Opposition (LOP), R Ashoka, demanded why it took the Congress 15 months to initiate an investigation despite being in power. Former Deputy Chief Minister Ashoka alleged that Siddaramaiah is trying to shield Congress leaders in Karnataka and Telangana.
