The Himachal Pradesh BJP president Rajeev Bindal claimed victory in four Lok Sabha seats and three assembly bypolls despite allegations of Congress misusing official machinery and filing false cases against BJP workers.

Despite the setbacks, the BJP won three more by-elections, increasing its tally to 28 in the state assembly, according to a statement from Shimla.
