The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has leveled serious allegations against Delhi BJP MPs, claiming they are neglecting the city and doing nothing to prevent ongoing demolition activities conducted by various agencies.

AAP MLA Durgesh Pathak, who oversees the party's MCD affairs, stated that despite high electoral margins since 2014, the BJP MPs have been inactive. He specifically pointed out a large-scale demolition drive by the DDA at Khyber Pass in Chandni Chowk, accusing local MP Praveen Khandelwal of failing to visit the affected residents.

Responding to these charges, Khandelwal accused Pathak of lying and diverting attention from other issues such as water shortages, rising electricity bills, and waterlogging, which he attributed to the Kejriwal government's inaction.

Pathak also targeted New Delhi BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj, alleging she remained silent on Railways' notices about slum removals in Patel Nagar and Brar Square. Swaraj's office refuted these claims, stating that she had already met with affected citizens and was actively addressing their concerns.
