Former U.S. President Donald Trump is, as previously communicated, 'doing well,' according to a joint statement from his campaign and the Republican National Committee. The statement was sent at approximately 21:40 p.m. ET on Saturday night (0150 GMT on Sunday).

'President Trump looks forward to joining you all in Milwaukee as we proceed with our convention to nominate him to serve as the 47th President of the United States,' the statement read, attributed to Trump campaign senior advisors Susie Wiles and Chris LaCivita.
