French nationals residing in Puducherry, Tamil Nadu, and Kerala took part in the first round of France's parliamentary elections. The polls, held on June 30, saw 892 out of 4,535 registered voters participating, as organized by the French Consulate and Bureau de France.
After the exclusion of rejected ballots, 877 valid votes were recorded. The French Consulate confirmed that the second polling round is set for July 7. Polling was conducted at four stations: two in Puducherry, and one each in Chennai and Karaikal.
