AAP leader Sanjay Singh on Friday accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi of ridiculing the justice system after the Delhi High Court put a hold on the trial court's order to grant Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal bail in a money laundering case linked to an alleged excise scam.

Taking to social media platform X, Singh questioned the government's actions, highlighting the premature challenge by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the High Court before the trial court's order was even documented. He stated, "Look at the hooliganism of the Modi government. How is the ED challenging an order that hasn't even been officially released yet? What is happening in this country? Modi ji, why are you making a mockery of the justice system? The whole country is watching you."

Additional Solicitor General S V Raju, representing the ED in the High Court, argued for a stay on the trial court's order, claiming that the agency did not receive a fair chance to present its case. Notably, the ED had previously arrested Kejriwal on March 21, soon after the Delhi High Court denied his request for protection against arrest following summonses issued to him.
