N Chandrababu Naidu, the TDP supremo, has been sworn in as Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh for the fourth term during a grand ceremony on Wednesday. The event saw the attendance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, senior BJP leaders, Union Ministers, and other notable personalities.

Also taking oath were Janasena chief and actor Pawan Kalyan, along with Nara Lokesh, son of Naidu. The oath was administered by Andhra Pradesh Governor S Abdul Nazeer. Attendees included Union Ministers Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, J P Nadda, and Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The Pawan Kalyan-led Janasena party secured three cabinet posts, while the BJP got one. With the Assembly's strength at 175, the cabinet is permitted to include 26 ministers, including the Chief Minister.

In the recent elections, the NDA, consisting of TDP, BJP, and Janasena, achieved a significant victory, winning 164 out of 175 Assembly seats and 21 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh.
