An explosion at a residential property in Bristol has tragically claimed the lives of two individuals, while leaving three others, including a child, with minor injuries. Authorities are investigating the cause as suspicious, emphasizing, however, that the incident is not believed to be terrorism-related.
The event has been classified as a major incident by police. Avon and Somerset Police Superintendent Matt Ebbs clarified that it is considered domestic-related. Despite the ongoing investigations, police have stated that they are not actively seeking any additional suspects in connection with the explosion.
While the investigation continues, police reported that there was no apparent significant damage to surrounding properties. Officials are conducting further enquiries at another property believed to be linked to the explosion.
