Justice Delayed as Teen Survival Story Unfolds in Rajasthan

Three youths in Rajasthan's Bundi district are implicated in the abduction and rape of a 15-year-old girl. The alleged crime involved Rakesh Meena and Lavkush Meena, who kidnapped and assaulted the victim, while Mahaveer Singh faces allegations for failing to report the incident to authorities.

In a harrowing incident that has shaken Rajasthan's Bundi district, three youths have been booked in connection with the abduction and rape of a 15-year-old girl. Police identified the accused as Rakesh Meena, Lavkush Meena, and Mahaveer Singh.

The victim filed a complaint, recounting that she was kidnapped by Rakesh and Lavkush from her residence. Rakesh allegedly raped her while Lavkush stood guard, leaving her on the road later. Mahaveer, instead of taking her to the authorities, offered a temporary refuge but did not inform the police.

Pursuant to the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, an FIR was registered. The police are actively pursuing the case, though arrests have yet to be made. The victim is currently under the protection of a girl's shelter home as investigations continue.
