Three individuals, including two police personnel from Gujarat, lost their lives when their Jeep collided with a stationary canter truck in Haryana's Dabwali, Sirsa district, on Wednesday, police confirmed.

Among the four passengers in the police vehicle, a head constable, a Home Guard of Gujarat police, and another person succumbed to the crash. A probationary sub-inspector suffered injuries, Superintendent of Police Siddhant Jain informed PTI via phone.

The tragic event occurred on Bharat Mala Road in Dabwali's Sakta Khera while the officers were en route to Punjab for a case investigation. Police continue to probe the cause of the collision.
