The Anti-Narcotic Task Force (ANTF) of the Punjab Police, with central agency support, has arrested 11 individuals, confiscating foreign currencies worth Rs 5.09 crore, as announced by Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav.

This operation has dismantled a narco-terror hawala network involving connections to a Pakistani drug trafficker. The crackdown ensues amid Punjab's overarching anti-drugs initiative, 'Yudh Nashian Virudh.'

The detailed inquiry, which spanned two months, traced the operations from Amritsar to Phagwara and involved meticulous investigations of backward and forward linkages, leading to significant recoveries and asset seizures.
