On March 22, 2025, the National Workshop on "Building Synergies in Indian Innovation Ecosystem" marked a significant milestone in India's journey toward becoming a global innovation powerhouse. Organized by NITI Aayog in collaboration with the Gujarat Council on Science & Technology (GUJCOST) under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Gujarat, the event was held at the prominent GIFT City in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.

The conference brought together a diverse group of key stakeholders from across sectors, including senior government officials, renowned academicians, influential industry leaders, emerging startup founders, grassroots innovators, and notable international delegates. The comprehensive agenda facilitated in-depth discussions and exchange of ideas on crucial subjects such as increasing research and development (R&D) investments, state-level innovation policies, emerging global innovation trends, and strategies for grassroots entrepreneurship.

Distinguished speakers such as Dr. V. K. Saraswat, Member (Science & Technology) of NITI Aayog, and Smt.
