Tragedy Strikes: Boat Capsizes in Banas River

Tragedy struck in Rajasthan's Ajmer district after a boat capsized in the Banas River, leading to the drowning of three men. This unfortunate incident occurred on Monday afternoon, as five friends embarked on a boating trip.

Police have confirmed that the bodies of Raju and Sandeep have been recovered. However, the search for their friend Rajveer is still ongoing, with efforts intensifying to locate him in the river.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Sawar Banwari Lal, only two of the friends, Praveen and Sanwra, managed to survive by swimming to safety. The incident serves as a grim reminder of the dangers associated with water activities, especially when safety measures are not strictly adhered to.
