Tensions between Russia and Ukraine intensified on Tuesday as Russian forces launched a ballistic missile and 126 drones, sparking significant destruction and injuries across Ukraine. A fuel storage facility in Odesa went up in flames, and additional damage was reported in the northeastern regions of Kharkiv and Sumy.
The Ukrainian air force effectively intercepted the ballistic Iskander-M missile and shot down 79 drones, with another 35 reportedly diverted through electronic warfare. Despite these efforts, several areas were impacted, with necessary firefighting and rescue operations ongoing.
