Dancer's Ordeal: Kidnapping and Assault in Madhya Pradesh

An alleged horrific crime in Madhya Pradesh's Singrauli district has shaken the community, as a 22-year-old dancer was reportedly kidnapped and gang-raped while returning home from a performance.

Sub-divisional officer of police, KK Pandey, revealed that six suspects have been arrested in connection with the brutal assault that occurred in the early hours of Thursday in a secluded forest area.

The victim, whose mobile phone was taken, managed to escape her predicament by hitching a ride. Upon reaching safety, she immediately reported the incident to the police, leading to the apprehension of the accused.
