Authorities in Gurugram have successfully arrested Dhirendra, a fugitive sought for his involvement in a 2022 murder case centered around a land dispute, as confirmed by officials on Wednesday.
The arrest took place on the Sohna-Ballabgarh road on Tuesday night, where Dhirendra, who carried a bounty of Rs 20,000, was captured by the police.
Originally filed on October 23, 2022, the case involved a woman reporting that her brother Bijendra was shot while working in the fields. The investigation revealed a land feud between Bijendra and Dhirendra, with Dhirendra's brother and a friend aiding in the crime.
