Bhuvnesh Kumar Takes Helm of UIDAI as New CEO
Bhuvnesh Kumar has been appointed as the CEO of UIDAI. He continues as an Additional Secretary in MeitY, taking over from Amit Agrawal. An IAS officer of the 1995 batch, Kumar is a gold medalist from NIT Kurukshetra and has held several key government positions.

Bhuvnesh Kumar has officially taken over as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI), according to a statement released on Wednesday.
Continuing his role as an Additional Secretary in the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Kumar succeeds Amit Agrawal, who has been appointed the new pharma secretary.
An IAS officer from the 1995 batch of the Uttar Pradesh cadre, Kumar is noted for his gold-medal-accomplished academics at NIT Kurukshetra and extensive experience in key bureaucratic roles.
