A 25-year-old man inadvertently foiled his own burglary attempt after breaking into a wine shop in Narsingi, Medak district, Telangana. Consumed by his habitual drinking, he ended up consuming alcohol on-site and falling asleep.

The shop owner discovered the man lying unconscious inside his store, with cash and liquor bottles in his possession. Upon finding him in such a state on Monday, the proprietor promptly called the authorities.

Despite taking cash from the till and liquor from the shop, none of the items left the premises, as the man was unable to stay awake. Police have registered a case under multiple sections and presented the man in court.
