The winter session of the Tripura assembly is set to kick off on January 10, as initially revealed by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ratan Lal Nath on Wednesday.
Over the three-day assembly session, two bills are anticipated to be presented, though further introductions may occur. The session will open with customary remarks from Governor Indrasena Reddy Nallu, who will reflect on the government's performance over the past year and unveil plans for forthcoming initiatives.
Among the session's agenda is the potential discussion on increasing the honorarium and benefits for lawmakers. Furthermore, Nath indicated that legislators would have significant opportunity to deliberate on key matters in the subsequent budget session.
