Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar owns assets totaling Rs 1.64 crore, as per the latest disclosures. His cash in hand is Rs 21,052, with nearly Rs 60,811 held in bank accounts.
The Bihar government requires its ministers to disclose asset details annually. The 2023 data reveals Kumar's movable property worth approximately Rs 16.97 lakh and immovable assets worth Rs 1.48 crore, comprising a single flat in New Delhi.
Several ministers have declared greater wealth than Kumar, including Deputy CM Samrat Choudhary and his wife, who hold substantial cash and property assets. Other ministers include Sumit Kumar Singh, Sunil Kumar, and Mangal Pandey, amongst others.
