The Bharatiya Janata Party has leveled serious allegations against the Jammu and Kashmir administration, led by Chief Minister Omar Abdullah. The BJP claims that the government has failed to deliver on commitments outlined in its manifesto.
According to BJP's J&K spokesman Altaf Thakur, the National Conference government has disappointed residents by not providing promised benefits like free gas cylinders, electricity, and job opportunities. Efforts to clear snowfall have also been criticized for lack of effectiveness.
Thakur accused Abdullah of making numerous promises during electoral campaigns but failing to act on them once in power. The BJP has also highlighted its successes in combating terrorism in the region and growing its membership base.
