Jammu Security Forces Neutralize Terror Threats in 2024

In 2024, Jammu security forces eliminated 14 foreign terrorists and dismantled 13 terror modules. Actions were taken against 827 individuals for anti-national activities, while 180 were detained under the Public Safety Act. A decline in general crime was also observed, with fewer cases compared to 2023.

In a significant move for regional stability, Jammu's security forces successfully neutralized 14 foreign terrorists in 2024, according to a police spokesperson.

With 13 terror modules dismantled across various areas, including Rajouri, Reasi, Poonch, Kathua, Udhampur, and Doda, the operational crackdown was comprehensive.

The crackdown also saw 827 individuals being targeted for involvement in anti-national activities, marking a significant increase from last year. Moreover, the region registered a 16.5% decline in general crime, underscoring the effectiveness of police efforts.
