In a startling development, a lawyer from Raipur by the name of Faizan Khan was apprehended by the Mumbai police. The arrest follows serious allegations that Khan issued death threats to Bollywood icon Shah Rukh Khan, demanding a hefty sum of Rs 50 lakh in the process.
The situation emerged after a call was made to a Mumbai police station from a number registered to Khan, threatening harm to the superstar. Despite Khan's insistence that his mobile phone was stolen and used maliciously, the court has permitted his transit to Mumbai for further inquiries.
This incident shadows previous threats targeting actor Salman Khan, linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Meanwhile, Khan, who previously filed a complaint against Shah Rukh Khan over a controversial movie dialogue, awaits further legal proceedings.
