Three Bangladeshi Women Detained at Agartala Station for Illegal Entry
Three Bangladeshi women were apprehended at Agartala railway station for entering India without valid travel documents. They intended to travel to New Delhi via Rajdhani Express. The arrest was made following a surveillance operation by GRP and BSF. Bangladeshi currency and documents were found on them.

Three Bangladeshi nationals have been apprehended at Agartala railway station for entering India without proper travel documentation, as confirmed by police on Tuesday.
Authorities reported that the trio, all women from various districts in Bangladesh, were planning to travel to New Delhi on the Rajdhani Express.
Acting on specific intelligence, a joint team from the GRP and BSF conducted a thorough surveillance operation at the station, leading to their detention on Monday evening, according to Tapas Das, Officer in Charge of Agartala GRP police station.
During questioning, the women admitted to crossing the international border on Sunday night with intentions of reaching New Delhi via Tripura.
Officials recovered Bangladeshi currency and documents from the trio, confirming their illegal entry into India. Since the beginning of the year, over 250 Bangladeshis have been arrested at Agartala for similar border violations.
