Couple Arrested for Robbery and Assault in North Delhi

Delhi Police have apprehended a couple in connection with an alleged assault and robbery incident in North Delhi's Alipur area. The couple, identified as 24-year-old Deepak and his 23-year-old wife, Deepali, face accusations of targeting Anuj Kumar, 29, officials reported on Tuesday.
According to police, the incident occurred on October 29 when Kumar was on his way home. The couple reportedly approached Kumar on a motorcycle, forcibly taking his mobile phone and a wallet containing Rs 1,500. The woman is said to have brutally assaulted the victim before they both fled the scene.
Subsequent CCTV analysis enabled authorities to locate and arrest the duo on Monday night in Alipur. Officers further revealed that Deepak had a history of involvement in numerous similar criminal activities.
