In the wake of a deadly clash between suspected militants and security forces in Manipur's Jiribam district, tensions remain high, though the area is relatively calm. Eleven militants were killed during the incident, prompting local authorities to implement prohibitory orders to maintain peace.

Monday's violent exchange involved insurgents attacking a police station and an adjacent CRPF camp, leading to a fierce gunfight where two CRPF personnel were injured. In response, the Kuki-Zo Council initiated a shutdown in the hill areas to protest the killings.

Meanwhile, reports of violence have surfaced across the Imphal Valley, with armed groups exchanging fire in several locales. Security operations are ongoing, with reinforcement teams deployed to manage the unrest and restore order in the region.
