India-Russia Collaboration Powers Up Defence Strength

A significant agreement aiming to bolster India's air defence has been signed between Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) and Russia's Rosoboronexport. The collaboration will focus on developing variations of the Pantsir air defence missile-gun system.
The Memorandum of Understanding was formalized during the fifth India-Russia Intergovernmental Commission Subgroup meeting held in Goa. The strategic partnership emphasizes the strong defence ties between India and Russia, particularly in light of increasing aerial threats.
The MoU was signed by retired Cmde A. Madhavarao, CMD of BDL, and Mr. Kovalenko German, DDG of the Naval Department at Rosoboronexport. This agreement signifies a new chapter in the ongoing military cooperation between the two nations.
