In a show of unwavering support, China declared on Monday its intention to continue assisting Pakistan in fighting terrorism, following incidents targeting Chinese nationals working on key projects in the country.
Responding to a recent attack in Karachi, where two Chinese individuals were injured, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian asserted Beijing's determination to safeguard its citizens abroad. "China will continue to support Pakistan in fighting terrorism," Lin stated during a media briefing.
Despite concerns over security measures, Lin expressed confidence in the joint capability of both nations to thwart any threats to their longstanding alliance. The Baloch Liberation Army has been a persistent threat, conducting numerous attacks, which it justifies by accusing exploitation of Balochistan's resources by Pakistan and China.
