In a dramatic turn of events, two men took to the heights of an overhead water tank in Himmat Nagar to demand the cancellation of the Sub-Inspector Recruitment Exam 2021, citing alleged malpractices.
Laduram Chaudhary, who appeared for the exam, and Vikas Vidhuri, both in their mid-30s, refused to budge despite police efforts. Their protest highlighted concerns over a purported paper leak and the use of unfair means in the recruitment process.
A cabinet committee comprising six ministers is now set to investigate the allegations. The committee, led by Parliamentary Affairs Minister Jogaram Patel, aims to decide the fate of the exam, which has left many candidates in limbo.
