Speaking after reports surfaced of farmer harassment, Reddy emphasized the potential use of the Essential Services Maintenance Act (ESMA) to tackle errant traders.
District Collectors received instructions to facilitate a seamless procurement operation, with an open line to senior officials if problems arise, addressing complaints about sluggish processes and inadequate resources at collection points.
