On Sunday, Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha paid heartfelt tributes to a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) who sacrificed his life during a gunfight with terrorists in Kishtwar district.
In a fierce encounter in the Keshwan forests, three soldiers were injured while the joint army and police search parties intercepted a terrorist group responsible for killing two village defense guards.
Lieutenant Governor Sinha saluted the courage of Nb Sub Rakesh Kumar, stating his sacrifice and selfless service to the nation will not be forgotten. The anti-terror operation in the dense forest continues, according to officials.
