The Delhi Police have apprehended a 23-year-old woman from Ludhiana for her alleged involvement in the rape of a minor, officials reported on Sunday.

The woman had been declared a proclaimed offender related to a case registered at the Kanjhawala police station five years ago.

According to police, the 2019 incident involved the luring of a 15-year-old by the accused, identified as Geeta. She allegedly took the victim to Surat, Gujarat, where two men repeatedly raped and held her captive. Despite attempts to evade capture by frequently changing locations, a tip-off led to her arrest in Janta Nagar, Ludhiana. Her co-accused, identified as Pintu and Satinder, remain at large.
