In a significant breakthrough, Punjab police arrested two individuals on Sunday, accused of murdering Jaswant Singh Gill in Gwalior earlier this week, according to local authorities.
Navjot Singh and Amarpreet Singh, alleged contract killers, were apprehended in Faridkot, Punjab. Gwalior's Superintendent of Police, Dharmveer Singh, confirmed their involvement in this chilling case. The duo, suspected of having connections to a gang, are also wanted for another murder in Faridkot.
The victim, Gill, was shot outside his home in the Dabra area while out on parole for a 2016 murder case. Officials suspect old enmities may have spurred this assassination, as related parties recently moved to Canada, fueling suspicion of a hired hit from abroad.
