An individual masquerading as a government official has been apprehended for deceiving several women. This development was confirmed by police officials on Sunday.

The incident unraveled following a complaint from the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in Jaipur against Sarvesh Kumawat from Ujjain. Kumawat falsely claimed he was an NCB zonal director.

Kumawat was detained upon his arrival in Jaipur from Ujjain. Investigations revealed he forged social media personas, claiming to be an IRS officer, duping women financially. The probe is ongoing.
