The situation concerning the alleged involvement of North Korean troops in the Russia-Ukraine conflict continues to stir controversy. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov remained tight-lipped, offering no additional commentary on Friday about the Western allegations.
Meanwhile, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken claimed on Thursday that Pyongyang has dispatched around 10,000 troops to Russia. Among this contingent, 8,000 are reportedly stationed in the western Kursk region, poised to engage in combat against Ukraine in the coming days.
Despite these allegations, Russia has neither confirmed nor denied the reports about North Korean soldiers present on its territory, leaving the international community with unanswered questions.
