In Maharashtra's Thane district, authorities are demonstrating swift resolution of election code complaints through the cVIGIL platform, resolving 88% of issues within 100 minutes, an official stated Friday.
The cVIGIL app, an initiative by the Election Commission of India, enables citizens to report election code violations. As the legislative assembly elections approach, set for November 20, Thane is taking assertive steps to ensure adherence to the code.
Of the 348 complaints recorded in Thane since mid-October, 87.99% have been addressed promptly. With 324 classified as cognisable, authorities are maintaining vigilance, working diligently on all remaining issues.
