Acting on specific intelligence, a collaborative effort by the Assam Rifles and Mizoram Police was launched at Maubawk village near Aizawl, where 32.4 grams of the narcotic was confiscated.

The arrested individuals, one from Maubawk and the other from Manipur's Churachandpur district, along with the seized contraband, were handed over to the Special Narcotics Police Station, CID (Crime) in Aizawl.
