Tragedy Over Chapati: Worker Pushed to Death in Delhi

In a shocking incident in the Bawana industrial area of Delhi, a factory worker, Ram Parkash, tragically lost his life following a confrontation over chapatis. The incident unfolded on October 29 while Parkash and another individual, Deepak, were adorning the rooftop of a building in Sector 1 for Diwali celebrations, according to the authorities.
As per the police report, the conflict arose when Aslam, a neighboring factory worker described by eyewitnesses as an alcoholic, approached Parkash requesting two chapatis. Parkash reportedly stated he had none to spare and admonished Aslam, highlighting his ability to afford his own meals.
The verbal clash escalated, culminating in Aslam allegedly pushing Parkash off the building's fourth-floor roof. Parkash sustained fatal injuries after landing near an electricity transformer on the ground. Despite being rushed to a hospital, he was declared dead upon arrival. Police have arrested Aslam, based on eyewitness testimonies.
