In a high-stakes confrontation, security forces successfully neutralized three heavily armed terrorists in Jammu's Akhnoor sector. The individuals, linked to the banned Jaish-e-Mohammed group, had infiltrated the region from Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, according to intelligence sources.
The group's nefarious plan to execute a major attack was uncovered thanks to a wireless set found in their possession. The terrorists had purportedly entered through the Battal area, officials confirmed.
The Army, with swift precision, responded with an elite force, utilizing advanced equipment, including BMP-II infantry combat vehicles and helicopter support, to dismantle the potential threat.
