In a significant announcement on Wednesday, Finance Minister Rachel Reeves revealed that Britain's economy is set to grow by 2.0% in the next year, as per the latest projections from the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).

These figures mark an optimistic increase from the earlier growth forecast of 1.9% for 2025, announced in March by the former Conservative government.

The OBR also anticipates economic growth of 1.8% in 2026 and 1.5% in 2027, which is slightly lower but nonetheless promising compared to its older forecast.
