Union Minister Bandi Sanjay Kumar has called for the withdrawal of a legal notice sent by BRS Working President K T Rama Rao. Kumar is also seeking a public apology through media channels within the next seven days.
Kumar, responding through his legal representative, dismissed the allegations made by Rama Rao as unfounded and malicious. According to Kumar, the claims made in the legal notice dated October 22 lack merit and are intended to tarnish his reputation.
Rama Rao took issue with remarks allegedly made by Kumar during a press conference on October 19. Kumar asserts that he did not mention Rama Rao by name during the event. The Union Minister further highlighted Rama Rao's previous admission of phone tapping under the BRS regime at a public gathering in March. Kumar has issued a warning of potential legal action if the demands for an apology and withdrawal of the notice are not fulfilled.
