The Orissa High Court on Tuesday granted conditional bail to three individuals in connection with the Bahanaga triple train tragedy of June 2023.

Justice Aditya Kumar Mohapatra, presiding over the case, ordered the release of Arun Kumar Mahanta, Md. Amir Khan, and Pappu Kumar on a bail bond of Rs 50,000 each, along with specific conditions.

The court imposed additional restrictions, barring the accused from working in the division of the accident and requiring regular court appearances and permission for any travel abroad.
